CLEVELAND - Follow Jason on Facebook and Twitter for more updates.

Skies will remain mainly clear Sunday night and into Monday morning with lows in the upper 40s to near 50 along the lakeshore. I expect more sun on Monday as southerly winds push our highs in the upper 60s and close to 70. We'll see clouds increase a bit later in the day and rain arrives after sunset and into the overnight.

High pressure will wedge in for Sunday providing mostly sunny skies and temps reaching to near 60, right on average for this time of year.

Expect even warmer weather for Monday, as we could see highs nearing 70 with chances at late day rain.

Clouds will decrease overnight and into Sunday. Remember, the Orionid meteor shower peaks tonight, at times you'll be able to see 20-25 per hour. Get away from city light and look up.

Just a few showers lingering east of Cleveland this evening. We should see mainly cloudy skies as lows drop into the 40s.

High pressure wedges in for Sunday with mainly sunny skies and highs warming to near 60. We could be near 70 by Monday.

Update: Temperatures will continue their slow warm-up into the lower 50s through the rest of the day. Can't rule out more showers before sunset either. Grab the jackets and umbrellas before you head out and about today. Slightly warmer with more sunshine Sunday!

____________________
Our slow moving storm system will finally pick up speed and push northeast this afternoon. In the meantime, we can expect more scattered rain today. Other than spotty morning showers, most of the widespread rain will hold off until this afternoon as we get one last shot or rain for the weekend. Temps will struggle to warm much with periods of rain and a thick cloud deck. Expect afternoon highs to top out in the lower and middle 50s, keep the jackets around!

Tonight the rain will push east and the clouds will begin to thin. Areas west of I-77 will clear first so if you are trying to catch a glimpse of the Orionid Meteor Shower, head west. As our sky opens up, temperatures will drop quickly into the low 40s. Plan for a cold start to your Sunday but a quick warm-up is just around the corner. Sunshine returns Monday along with upper 50s and lower 60s. 70s will return early next week along with a few more chances for rain.
