We may see some sunshine break out across the west this afternoon, but it'll stay chilly with highs only in the 20s. We'll also see a few flurries. Mainly dry tonight - lows in the teens and upper single digits west and away from the lake.

Follow Trent on Facebook and Twitter for forecast updates.

11:25 am Update: We are starting to see a few peeks of sunshine west of I-71. It won't help warm us up much though. We are just now stating to break into the 20s with afternoon highs expected lowers than 25º. Be sure to add extra layers if you'll be outside today.

10:00 a.m. Update: Current temperatures are in the mid-to-upper teens under mainly cloudy skies. I see a few breaks in the cloud cover, so expect peeks of sunshine by noon in some areas.

Lunchtime temperatures will hover near 20 degrees with highs around 24 degrees later today. Expect dry weather through Thursday afternoon.
____________
Morning temperatures are in the single digits west of Cleveland, where the sky has partially cleared overnight.
Wooster dropped to 3 degrees at 8 a.m.! East of Cleveland, lake effect clouds are still lingering, leading to warmer temperatures in the teens and low 20s.

With the help of some sunshine today, highs will climb to 24 degrees. Western Ohio has the best chance of seeing peeks of blue.

High pressure will keep the sky partially clear again tonight, allowing temperatures to drop to the teens and single digits again.

A weak cold front will arrive Thursday evening, bringing a chance of light snow showers to the Snowbelt through early Friday.

Warmer temperatures in the low-to-mid 30s are likely this weekend with another chance of light snow Sunday.
