CLEVELAND - Traffic will be limited on a west side Cleveland street for a couple weeks while crew restore a portion of the road.
Construction on a 500-foot portion of West 54th Street between Franklin Avenue and Detroit Avenue started Wednesday morning.
The city said while only one side of the road will be blocked off at a time, only local traffic will be permitted in the area.
Drivers are able to use West 52nd Street and West 58th Street to get around the construction.
The project includes excavating the road, placing aggregate base stone and installing an asphalt surface course.
Work on the project is expected to be finished by Dec. 14.
