CLEVELAND - Interstate 90 westbound is back open at Dead Man's Curve, after a battery spill shutdown the highway for several hours Thursday morning.
ODOT says the Prospect Road exit ramp remains closed as crews move equipment used for the cleanup operations.
Cleveland police and fire were called to the scene where a truck lost a large battery which opened up after hitting the road, spilling battery acid and requiring a HAZMAT cleanup.
The Chester, Carnegie and Superior entrance ramps were also closed.
The highway reopened around 1 p.m. Thursday.
