One dead after head-on crash on State Route 83 in Wayne County

CANAAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A man is dead after a crash on State Route 83 in Canaan Township, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
It happened Friday morning when a car and pick-up truck collided head-on. A third vehicle was involved but not heavily damaged.
The victim was from Wayne County, according to troopers. They said two people in the truck and one in the third car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Route 83 between Britton Road and Sterling Road has reopened after the crash.
A preliminary investigation shows the truck went left of center and struck the car.
