Oil spill closes right lane of State Route 2 between State and Newell Streets

LAKE COUNTY, Ohio - The right lane is closed on State Route 2 westbound between State Street and Newell Street after an oil spill.
The entrance and exit ramps at Richmond Street for SR 2 westbound are also closed for clean-up, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
ODOT said clean-up is expected to be completed before the evening commute.
