CLEVELAND - On Monday and Tuesday, ODOT crews working on the Innerbelt Bridge construction project will be installing some new street signs.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, crews will install new street signs at the following intersections:
- E 14th Street at Broadway Avenue
- E 14th Street at Orange Avenue
- Ontario Street at Carnegie Avenue.
ODOT said that sign installation may cause lane restrictions near or in the intersections.
Construction on the westbound bridge is underway and construction is expected to begin soon on the eastbound bridge. The westbound bridge is expected to be completed this fall and both bridges could be open to traffic as soon as late 2016.
ODOT recently announced the final three teams who will compete for the estimated $330 million contract to design, construct and finance the eastbound Innerbelt Bridge and demolish the existing span. The final team will likely to be selected this summer.
