CLEVELAND - ODOT released new construction update for the end of the week beginning overnight Thursday, February 9:
•NEW!! Overnight Thursday, February 9, crews will close the Ontario Street entrance ramp to I-90 west from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Friday morning. Motorists may detour via Ontario Street south to I-77 south, to I-490 west to I-90 west. Motorists heading for Tremont or Ohio City should use the Lorain-Carnegie bridge. The E 9th Street ramp to I-90 west will remain open.
Tremont Impacts:
•NEW!! Fairfield Avenue will be restricted to one lane westbound each weekday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning on Friday, February 10, for approximately the next two weeks. Kenilworth Avenue will reopen to traffic by 7 a.m. on Friday, February 10, but will have active work immediately adjacent to the traffic lanes. It is recommended that motorists proceed cautiously when using Kenilworth. Pedestrians should continue to use Starkweather.
•UPDATED!! Kenilworth Avenue, under I-90, will be closed to motorists and pedestrians, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, February 6. The street will reopen for vehicular use by Friday, February 10 at 7 a.m.
•The W 14th off-ramp from I-90 west will remain closed for a month or more. The Abbey Avenue ramp remains open providing easy access to W 14th Street. Click here for an informative graphic that shows the detour and includes a map of the immediate area.
