COLUMBUS, Ohio - Authorities in central Ohio say a 9-year-old boy was among three people killed in a head-on traffic crash that left several others injured over the weekend.
The Franklin County sheriff's office says the names of those killed in the crash near Harrisburg late Saturday night were being withheld until their families were notified.
The office says a southbound car crossed a center line and hit a vehicle carrying a Hilliard family.
The car driver was seriously hurt, and two men riding in that car died at the scene.
A boy riding in the back of the other car later died at a hospital. Deputies said four more people in his family's vehicle suffered injuries and were taken to hospitals.
No charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation.
