CLEVELAND - U.S. Route 22 and State Route 7 in Jefferson County will be closed for about 20 minutes on Tuesday morning for Fort Steuben Bridge demolition.
Traffic around Steubenville will be stopped to allow for the blast.
According to ODOT, around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 21st, traffic on U.S. Route 22, the Veterans Memorial Bridge, and State Route 7 will be brought to a stop at minimum of 1,000 feet away from the Fort Steuben structure.
Traffic will be controlled and coordinated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the West Virginia state police, and the city of Steubenville police department.
Delays are expected in the area while the closures are in place.
