CLEVELAND - The final pieces to the new I-90 westbound Innerbelt Bridge are going up this week.
Steel beams are going up over Abbey Avenue in Tremont starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday. They will also go up this Friday.
Construction crews will be closing a gap on the bridge with the steel pieces.
The westbound bridge is expected to open to traffic this fall then work will follow on the eastbound bridge.
Abbey Avenue continues to be closed during this work.
