CLEVELAND - Cleveland police said several cars pulled off to the side of the road with flat tires after hitting a piece of metal on Interstate 480 Wednesday morning.

They said the issue is on I-480 eastbound at the I-71 split and caused a big traffic backup.

Tow trucks were on the scene and cars were pulled off to the side near West 150th Street.

A driver whose car got a flat tire from the debris said he saw about 20 cars on the side of the road changing tires.

Cleveland police are investigating the problem.
