CLEVELAND - One person is dead after a crash early Thursday morning.
Jefferson Williams, 35, of North Olmsted, died in the crash happened at the intersection of Lakewood Heights Boulevard and Berea Road, near the Lakewood-Cleveland border.
The victim was traveling south on Berea Road in a 2009 Mercedes when the car went off the right side of the road and struck a steel parking pole, before rolling onto its side.
The victim was pronounced dead when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
The Cleveland Police Accident Investigation Unit was on scene to reconstruct the crash because no other vehicles were involved. Police have not named a cause of the crash.
No other information is available at this time.
