CLEVELAND - Some of you may be waking up with sticker shock Thursday morning.
Gas prices are going up again. Some stations jumped more than 20 cents overnight.
Thursday, those prices are more than 30 cents higher per gallon than a year ago. The national average is now $3.37. It's the same for Ohio.
But locally, our crews overnight found a few stations with prices way above that number.
Gas is $3.59 at the Richfield Sunoco on I-77 and Wheatley Road. In Seven Hills at Pleasant Valley Road and Broadview, regular is priced at $3.58. It was the same trend in Cleveland. At East 9th St. and Carnegie Ave, gas again touched the $3.59 marker.
Need some good news? Airfares have hit their lowest levels in 12 months, but you have to book now because like most deals, these prices won't last long.
Also, be careful while you're booking. While the ticket prices may be lower there's still fees that can take a toll on your wallet.
