Computers might be becoming more advanced every day, but clearly they still can't see.

How else to explain the fact that one of the computer rankings that is used in the BCS formula still lists Notre Dame as the No. 1 team and Alabama as the No. 2 team?

And yet, that is exactly what the Colley Matrix does , despite crediting the Crimson Tide with beating the Fighting Irish 42-14 in the BCS title game as being Alabama's best win of the season, and despite also crediting coach Nick Saban's team with more wins over Top 25 teams than Notre Dame.

As CBS Sports Tom Fornelli first reported in his blog , the shocking oddity is sure to raise a few eyebrows, and serves as further proof that, for many, college football's playoff can't get here soon enough.
