COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 6-3, 200 pound junior went down to Ohio State this weekend for a junior day visit and came away with a scholarship offer from the Scarlet and Grey.

In 13 games last season, the junior operating out of Mentor's high-powered five wide spread attack threw for 3,845 yards and 41 touchdowns and rushed for another 611 yards and 12 touchdowns. Earlier this month, Trubisky received the Greater Cleveland Sports award for the High School Athlete of the Year.

Trubisky is a huge Buckeyes fan and ironically wears scarlet and gray already as part of Mentor's uniform color scheme. He has not yet decided where he will go to school as part of the class of 2013.
