CLEVELAND - Beachwood native and former Ohio State Buckeyes pitcher Brad Goldberg will get his chance to pursue a career in Major League Baseball.
The right handed pitcher was selected in the tenth round of the Major League Baseball amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.
Goldberg went 6-1 in 15 appearances this season at Ohio State with a 2.99 earned run average. Goldberg played just this past season for the Buckeyes after transferring from Coastal Carolina following the 2010 season.
