SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - The Lady Eagles are one win away from the Division II national championship.
Ashland defeated Gannon University 74-63. They will play Western Washington in the national semi-final at 9:30 tonight.
Ashland was lead by Daiva Gerbec's 23 points, Taylor Woods 21 points, and the player of the year Kari Daughtery added 19.
The Lady Eagles trailed 31-25 at halftime, but rallied back on Wood's four three-pointers to out score Gannon 49-32 after the break.
