AKRON, Ohio - What an exciting moment down at Canal Park in Akron on Sunday afternoon.
Aeros pitcher Giovanni Soto tosses a no-hitter against the Altoona Curve, the double a affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Soto struck out six allowing just an unearned run. Aeros win the game 2-1.
It's the first Aeros no-hitter since Jeanmar Gomez pitched a perfect game in May 2009. Soto was picked up from the Detroit Tigers for Jhonny Peralta in 2010.
