MANTUA, Ohio - On the track with Crestwood High School junior Dylan Kager, you can see he's not your ordinary athlete. He's keeping his body tuned up for the upcoming wrestling season.
Dylan is a three-time letter winner in wrestling and at 132 pounds, he won the Portage Trail Conference League for the past three years. He also placed sixth at the state wrestling championship.
Dylan's hard work on the mat is just as tough in the classroom.
"Coaches are hard on you. They push you to do your best in school and they always call us student athletes. We are not athletes that just go to school, we put grades first," explained Dylan.
The junior plans to attend college and hopes to continue wrestling at the collegiate level.
Congratulations Dylan Kager for being the McDonald's Student Athlete of the Week.
