AVON LAKE, Ohio - Running with the Shoremen of Avon Lake High School is senior all-Ohio cross country runner Trevor Norris.
Norris is the team captain for cross country and the track team, and he is a four-year letter winner in both sports. He is a Lorain County MVP, Avon Lake MVP, first-team all conference and a state qualifier in cross country.
When he's not running he's a member of National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and he has a 4.1 grade point average.
"I work in the classroom and outside the classroom. I feel that I'm a good leader. I motivate people to achieve some good things. We had a good program here at Avon Lake and I'm happy to be a part of it," said Norris.
"He's a good example both in the classroom and on the track. He's just a phenomenal person, the nicest kid that you could ask for, but also one of the toughest people you want on your team," said head track coach Rob Rocco.
