MAYFIELD, Ohio - On the tennis court is senior Alex Rinaldi of Mayfield High School. When you are a state qualifier and most valuable player for your team your freshman and sophomore year, and a four-year letterman, you are always working on your game.
Alex's hard work and dedication are also apparent in the classroom. He has a4.1 grade point average and is a member of National Honor Society.
"Tennis and school I put 100 percent into it. I use all my effort and doing that allows me to succeed in both school and tennis, and it translates to my entire life," said Alex.
"Since he's been a freshman, he brought a tremendous work ethic to the tennis court, and really display a tremendous amount of skill on the court," said head tennis coach Andrew Perry.
In the fall, Alex will be attending Ohio State University. Congratulations Alex Rinaldi for being the McDonalds student athlete of the week.
