VERMILION, Ohio - Senior AuBree LaForce is making a hit at Vermilion High. As a softball player, she was awarded third team all state.
In track she was a member of the 4x200 relay team that placed third at the state meet. She also played soccer for two years and was Honorable Mention All Cleveland. If that is not enough, she's 1st Team All Lorain County in basketball, and Honorable Mention All District. She also holds the school record for most made free throws in a game. And she has the school record for most points in a career with 1,136 points.
"She does exactly what people thank she can't do. She's a very hard worker she has a can do attitude," said head softball coach Roger Wright.
AuBree's academics are just as impressive as her athletics. She's a member of National Honor Society, Academic All-Ohio with a 4.3 grade point average.
"My academics will always comes first but I love sports. I love excelling in them and I work very hard both academically and athletically and there both very important to me," said AuBree.
AuBree plans to play basketball in college. AuBree LaForce is the McDonald's student athlete of the week.
