GATES MILLS, Ohio - It's tee time with senior Andrew Bieber of Gilmour Academy. As a junior, Andrew was a medalist at the Ohio division three sectional and district tournaments.
But that's not all -- he is the defending state champion. Andrew is more than just a student of the golf game.
"He is a awesome student in the classroom and a great leader in the classroom on the course and a lot of our young players look up to him," said varsity coach Anne Caja.
Andrew has committed to play at Duke University next year and he is always striving to get better.
"I realize how hard I work at the game, I realize how much time and how hard I prepare and because of that I always strive to perform as well as I can to do the best that I can -- and give each and every tournament all that I can give it," said Bieber.
Continue your success, Andrew Bieber, the McDonald's student athlete of the week.
