SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio - It's basketball time at Brookside High School and sophomore Kenny Pierson is playing basketball now for the Cardinals but he is also on the soccer and baseball team.
Kenny also gives up half of his lunch period to serve in the school kitchen everyday. This three-sport athlete is getting the job done in the classroom maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
"In order to go to college I've got to have good grades and I want to go to college and do something with my life and play sports in college too,'' said Pierson.
Kenny also excels in his community.
"This summer I'm going to Oklahoma to a Native American reservation to do some work on houses," said Kenny.
Congratulations to basketball, baseball, and soccer player Kenny Pierson, the McDonald's student athlete of the week.
