CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - Senior Cleveland Heights soccer player Kalah Saunders is the captain and a four-year starter for the Tigers.
Kalah played multiple positions and has been a great player for the Cleveland Heights soccer program.
"She has been a very valuable player for our program. I don't know where our program would be without her. Two years ago we went to the district finals. I'm sure that would not happen without Kalah," said head girls soccer coach Robert Helsgott.
When Kalah is not scoring goals for the soccer team, she is studying hard to maintain a 3.9 grade point average. She is also a member of National Honor Society and she understands her academics come first.
"It is the key to my success and my future, and without my academics, being a good athlete would not be as relevant and both of these things will help me in the future," Kalah said.
