COLUMBUS, OH - The Walsh Jesuit soccer team scored early and never looked back on their way to a 5-0 win over Columbus DeSales at Columbus Crew Stadium today in the Division II Girls State Soccer Championship.
The win for the Walsh girls soccer team was a record 6th State title. The Warriors who finished the season 21-0-2 scored three goals in a span of 12 minutes in the first half to set the tone. Senior Maddy John got the Warriors on the board with a header followed by a goal ten minutes later from Alex Kithcart.
The six championships are the most for any boys or girls team.
