OHSAA adds third day to state football championship weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio - With the addition of a seventh division in high school football this upcoming season, the Ohio High School Athletic Association has expanded state championship weekend to a three day event beginning this year.
One state championship game will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5. The remaining six state championship games will take place on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7. Three game will take place each day.
The state championship games will take place in Massillon and Canton this year before moving to Ohio Stadium in Columbus in 2014.
