BRECKSVILLE, OH - The Brecksville Gymnastics team is gearing up for another state title run.The Lady Bees have won nine straight state championships and are a perfect 766-0 in duel meets over the past ten years.

Maria Schneider along with her parents Joan and Ron Ganim have coached Brecksville Gymnastics since 1969.

"I can't find a team and I have searched or even an individual that has that kind of record" Maria said after being asked about the perfect duel mark the team has compiled since 2000.

The big secret behind the success, familiarity, the girls on the Brecksville High School team have competed together since a very young age, and all out of the Ganim family's gym in Broadview Heights, Gymnastics World.

"Most of us have been going here forever,or our whole life, since we were in single digits" said Mea Weaver, a senior on the Brecksville team.

Brecksville is one of five Northeast Ohio teams competing at the state competition that begins with Team Competition on Friday and Individuals on Saturday at Hilliard Bradley High School in Columbus.

If the Lady Bees win a 10 straight State Championship, they will have run their duel meet record to 777-0 to which coach Schneider said, "If we can pull it off, I may have to find a casino on the way back home and place a bet on the numbers 7-7-7".
