With one week to play in the regular season, there are still lots of questions when it comes to the 2012 NFL playoff field.
In the AFC, the six teams are set, but many of the seeds are still up in the air.
In the NFC, four teams have clinched a playoff berth, with two divisional titles still up in the air and five teams battling for the final two playoff spots.
Here’s a look at the current seeding in both conferences and their playoff scenarios:
1. Texans (12-3) at Colts
Houston has clinched the AFC South and can wrap up the No. 1 seed with a win over the Colts.
2. Broncos (12-3) vs Chiefs
Denver has clinched the AFC West and can wrap up the No. 2 seed with a win. They can also earn the No. 1 seed with a win and a Houston loss. They could drop to No. 3 if they lose and the Patriots win.
3. Patriots (11-4) vs Dolphins
New England has clinched the AFC East. They can clinch a No. 1 seed with a win and loss from the Broncos and Texans. They can clinch a No. 2 seed with a win and a loss from Broncos OR the Texans. They’d fall to No. 4 if they lose and Baltimore wins.
4. Ravens (10-5) at Bengals
Baltimore has clinched the AFC North. They can move up to No. 3 if they win and the Patriots lose. They cannot move down.
5. Colts (10-5) vs. Houston
Indianapolis has clinched the No. 5 seed. They cannot move down or up.
6. Bengals (9-6) vs Ravens
Cincinnati has clinched the No. 6 seed. They cannot move down or up.
1. Falcons (13-2) vs Buccaneers
Atlanta has clinched the NFC South and the No. 1 seed.
2. Packers (11-4) at Vikings.
Green Bay has clinched the NFC North. They can wrap up the No. 2 seed with a win. They would drop to No. 3 if they lose and the 49ers win.
3. 49ers (10-4-1) vs Cardinals.
San Fransisco has clinched a playoff spot. They can wrap up the NFC West and secure a home playoff game with a win. They can move up to the No. 2 seed with a win and a Packers loss. They would move to the No. 5 seed with a loss and a Seattle win.
4. Redskins (9-6) vs Cowboys.
Washington can clinch the NFC East and the No. 4 seed with a win over the Cowboys. They could earn a wild card berth (No. 6 seed) with a loss if Minnesota and Chicago both lose.
5. Seahawks (10-5) vs Rams.
Seattle has clinched a playoff spot. They can win the NFC West and earn a No. 3 seed with a win and a 49ers loss. They cannot move down.
6. Vikings (9-6) vs Packers
Minnesota can clinch the No. 6 spot with a win. They would get in with a loss if they Chicago, Dallas and the Giants all lose as well.
7. Bears (9-6) at Lions
Chicago can clinch a wild card with a win and a Vikings loss.
8. Cowboys (8-7) at Redskins
Dallas can clinch the NFC East with a win. They cannot earn a wild card spot.
9. Giants (8-7) vs Eagles
Can earn a wild card with a win PLUS losses by the Bears, Cowboys and Vikings.
