CLEVELAND, OH - Browns kick returner and wide receiver Josh Cribbs tweeted goodbye to Cleveland as he closes in on a deal with the Arizona Cardinals.
Cribbs tweeted " It's been a blessing to be in Cleveland,wishing the best to the city and the team, If I could stay I would"
Cribbs agent JR Rickert tweeted out a short time later that a deal has not been reached at this time. The Cardinals moved to the front of Cribbs list along with New England but in the end it looks like Arizona will win out. A deal is expected to be done, sources tell WEWS Sports the two sides are working on the structure of the deal and the final numbers and expect a deal to be done.
Cribbs is a three team pro bowler and leaves town as one of the greatest special teamers in the teams history, holding numerous kick and punt return records in his eight years in the brown and orange.
