BEREA, Ohio - It appears a coach on the Cleveland Browns list of potential head coaches is shuffling off to Buffalo. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Doug Marrone is leaving Syracuse and heading to Buffalo as the Bills next head coach.
Schefter reports Marrone has yet to sign a deal to replace Chan Gailey, who was fired after going 16-32 over three seasons.
The Cleveland Browns reportedly interviewed Marrone for a second time on Friday for the team's head coaching position. The Browns are also going after Oregon head coach Chip Kelly. Kelly reportedly interviewed for the Bills position. The Philadelphia Eagles are also in the running to hire Kelly.
The Browns fired Pat Shurmur last month, on the day after the team's season ending loss to Pittsburgh.
