CLEVELAND - NewsChannel 5 Sports Director Andy Baskin has confirmed The Cleveland Browns have landed Baltimore Ravens free agent linebacker Paul Kruger.
Kruger, 27, had a breakout season in 2012, compiling 42 tackles and 9 sacks in the regular season, as well as 4.5 more over the course of the Ravens' Super Bowl run.
ESPN first confirmed the deal said to be worth a reported $8 million per year for five years.
Also Browns free agent tight end Ben Watson said good-bye to Cleveland fans on Twitter. "Browns Fans, Thank You For Your Support The Last 3 Years! God Bless! SOLI DEO GLORIA"
Also Kick Returner Josh Cribbs tweeted out at 4:00pm , " & Now it Begins;(" The fan favorite is expected to land with a contender, and not the Browns.
The Browns have not made an announcement on any free agents.
