BEREA, Ohio - The Cleveland Browns first-round draft pick and the number three pick overall in the 2012 NFL Draft may not play during Friday’s preseason game.
Rookie running back Trent Richardson sat out at practice on Tuesday with a a sore left knee.
He stretched with trainers throughout practice, wearing a sleeve on his left leg. The 22-year-old out of Alabama will be reevaluated by doctors on Tuesday. His status will be determined later.
The Browns take on the Detroit Lions at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Ford Field.
