PITTSBURGH - The Browns season ended Sunday in Pittsburgh but the new future of this team is only beginning. Pat Shurmur and Tom Heckert are taking part in their final game as members of the Browns organization, both are expected to be fired following Sunday's game.

Jimmy Haslam was in Pittsburgh, as was Tom Heckert. Heckert ran into a member of the Cleveland media prior to the game and was asked if there is any news yet. Heckert answered "Not yet, but there will be" in reference to the impending change to follow this game.

The Browns look very comfortable with Thad Lewis under center, moving the ball into Steelers territory before the rookie quarterback made his first mistake, throwing an interception to Troy Polomalu.

The Browns would get the ball back and move into Steelers territory as the first quarter comes to an end.

Browns drive would end when Phil Dawson misses a 39 yard field goal wide right, just the second miss of the year for the Pro Bowl kicker.

The Steelers would mount a drive of there own, Ben Roethlisberger with a big third and five completion for 13 yards to keep the drive alive.

The Steelers would take the lead when Shaun Suisham connects on a 41 yard field goal with 7:53 to play in the first half. The drive went 48 yards in nine plays in 4:52.

The Browns would answer after the 10 play 47 yard drive stalled at the Steelers 41 yard line. Phil Dawson answered with his seventh straight 50 yard field goal of the season.

The Browns would turn the ball over on a Josh Gordon fumble that was recovered at the Browns 24 yard line with 1:42 left to play in the first half.

The Steelers would take advantage of a pass interference call on Eric Haag that set up a one yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Leonard Pope.

Browns will get the ball to start the second half. Browns lead in time of posession but not on the scoreboard.

Browns come out in the second half and let it all hang out. Ray Ventrone takes a fake punt 35 yards to set up Thad Lewis first career touchdown pass, seven yards to Greg Little.

The Steelers would answer by going 80 yards in 12 plays with Ben Roethlisberger connecting with Antonio Brown on a nine yard scoring pass with 4:39 left to go in the third quarter.

The game has become extremely chippy in the second half, multiple fights have broken out here.

Costly mistakes killed the Browns today. Travis Benjamin's fumble with six minutes to go in the game was recovered by the Steelers. Replay upheld the call. Steelers would get the football. Ben Roethlisberger would find Plaxico Burris on a 12 yard score.
