CLEVELAND - Clad in orange and brown, they show up to the stadium hours before games start, they brave freezing temperatures and snow, and they love the team despite the heartbreak. There are few fans that rival Cleveland Browns fans, and the number of them just keeps growing.
Recently, the team’s official fan club, Browns Backers Worldwide, registered its 100,000th member.
According to BBW, it is one of the largest organized fan clubs in all of professional sports. With more than 350 clubs in 10 countries, that says something about the dedication of Browns fans.
The 100,000th Browns Backer is 42-year-old lifelong Browns fan Bret Cantley. The Wickliffe father of six will received two tickets to a Browns home game, two pregame field passes and a prize pack from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
