Eagles beat the Browns 17-16 in first game of season.

Weeden is picked on the first play of the drive, his fourth in his debut. Cleveland with just one timeout left - that will do it for them. 

Vick touchdown to tight end Clay Harbor on 3rd and goal to complete 16 play, 91 yard drive. Now with 1:12 left it's up to the rookie Weeden, down 17-16, to get the Browns into at the least field goal range. 

Two minute warning. Eagles with first and goal at Browns 3. Do or die time for this defense that has created turnovers. Now they have to find a way to keep the Eagles out of the endzone, up six.

First down Eagles, as McCoy gains three on the 4th down.

The Browns defense has stepped all day. 4th and short for the Eagles and they'll go for it. 

3rd down Vick rolls left, fumbles but appears short of the first down. Vick incomplete to Avant on 2nd down at the Browns 27. Later on this drive, great coverage by Joe Haden as Vick tries to connect with Jackson in the endzone. Browns defense helps the Eagles out with a roughing the passer on Ahtyba Rubin. Eagles move to their own 41 and then Vick hits DeSean Jackson to midfield. 

Vick hits Jason Avant on 3rd and 2, quiets the loud Browns crowd - for now. 

Browns fail to convert 3rd and 11. Eagles get the ball back with 6:33 left in the game. 

Big 3rd down completion. Weeden hits Brandon Jackson for a 14-yard gain into Eagles territory.

Eagles 3rd and 9 stopped by the Browns. Henery misses 45 yard FG. Game remains 16-10 with 9:01 to play.

Browns finally get in the endzone, as Vick's fourth interception is a pick-six by D'Qwell Jackson. Browns now lead 16-10 with 14:10 to go in the game. 

Dawson kicks 42 yard field goal to cut the Eagles lead to 10-9. 

The Browns defense is doing everything to keep the Browns in the game. Joe Haden picks off Vick. It's Vick's third pick of the game. Haden ran the ball down to the Eagles 22 yard line.A 50 yard return.

Once again Phil Dawson keeps the Browns in the game. Phil Dawson nailed a 42 yard field goal. 10-6 Eagles 4:57 to go in the third quarter.

Browns return the favor. D' Qwell Jackson deflected a Vick pass and the ball ended up in the hands of L.J. Fort.

Brandon Weeden throws his third interception. picked off for third time. The second interception of the game by Rodgers-Cromartie.

T.J. Ward is back from his cramping issues.

Philadelphia stuck it to the Browns in the final minute of the first half. It ended up with an 18 yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Jeremy Maclin. 10-3 Eagles lead at halftime. The Eagles had the ball 17:17 in the first half. Just less than 5 minutes more than the Browns.

Tale of two different teams for the Browns. For the amount of time the Browns defense spent on the field in the first half. Philadelphia could have had a much bigger lead. Philadelphia helped out the Browns with 7 first half penalties for 60 yards.

Weeden had a very rookie-like performance in the first half. He was 7 for 19, 68 yards. He threw two interceptions. He ran for 25 yards. All on the last play of the first half. Trent Richardson also had a very rookie-like first game. 25 yards on 11 carries. Travis Benjamin leads the Browns with 35 yards on one play. Mo Mass has 2 catches for 38 yards.

T.J. Ward ran to to the locker room. Really hoping it was for a potty break. He is suffering cramps. He's questionable. Again, I hope I am right.

On 3 and 11, Weeden tried to push the envelope on a long pass to Travis Benjamin, intercepted by Dominique Rogers-Cromartie. But, after a big T.J.Ward sack.  It turned out to be the same as a punt.

One of the best Browns highlights in years. Trent Richardson on a 9 yard gain. Lowered the boom on Kurt Coleman, who's helmet came flying off. His helmet may have been loose, but the play shook the stadium. The Eagles win the war in the battle. Richardson on the next carry lost a yard. The Browns had to punt. Still a great highlight.

Browns with some razzle dazzle a double reverse with Weeden giving to Josh Cribbs, then Cribbs flipping the ball to Travis Benjamin.  The Browns move the ball down to the Eagles 13 yard line. It was a 35 yard pick up.

But, Brandon Weeden's pass to Greg Little inside the 5, turned into a bobbled ball, that bounced in the air and into former Buckeye Kurt Coleman's hands.

The Eagles tie the game on the first play, with a 42 yard field goal by Alex Henery. Key play on the Eagles 7 play drive was a 35 yard pass from Michael Vick to DeSean Jackson. game tied at 3.

Browns lead 3-0 after first quarter. Time of possession Eagles 10:35, Browns 4:25 in the first quarter.

Browns defensive back Sheldon Brown was hurt with less than 2:00 to go in the first quarter. He walked off the field under his own power. He is questionable after a shoulder issue.

The Browns defense has caught a few breaks with some penalties and came up with another turner over. Craig Robertson picked off Vick at the Browns 40 yard line. 4:32 to go in the first quarter. Browns come up empty, after turnover.

Phil Dawson put

the Browns on the board with a 43 yard field goal. Browns lead 3-0. Key play on the Browns 6 play scoring drive was a 24 yard pass from Brandon Weeden to Mohamed Massaquoi.

Philly's first drive end with a LeSean McCoy fumble at the Browns 49 yard line. TJ Ward with the strip. D'Qwell Jackson on the recovery.

Browns and Eagles are underway. Eagles won the toss.
