BEREA, Ohio - It's official. Jimmy Haslam is the new owner of the Cleveland Browns.

He seems as comfortable in the press room, or on the practice field, as he is with the fans at the game.

For years, the Brown's home has been in Berea, side by side with other homeowners there. Now that the team has a new owner, what are folks here saying about the new guy who's moving in?

"Hey, welcome to the neighborhood, Jimmy," said 8-year Berea resident Don Schroeder. "I really appreciate it."

Schroeder is looking forward to the passion for success that Haslam brings with him.

"He wants to have a winning team from everything I've heard. He's really committed to making them a better team than they are right now."

Baldwin Wallace University is just down the street from Browns headquarters. The reaction there was positive.

"He actually knows football and I think his interest will definitely help with the team."

"I feel like new enthusiasm and a new upbeat owner will pick everybody up."

"Someone who wants to be there and actually wants to own the team, it'll be great for them."

"Sometimes you get so set in your ways, you need to bring new people in and new blood and look at things differently."

"You get a sense that he is a business man but he's really not, he's trying to be a fan and I think that's what Cleveland has needed in an owner and they're going to have that in Jimmy Haslam."
