OLEAN, NY - Demitrius Conger scored 15 points and pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure over Cleveland State 87-53 Saturday in a nonconference matchup.
Charlon Kloof added 14, Youssou Ndoye had 12 and Eric Mosley came off the bench for 10 points for the Bonnies, who took a 22-point lead, 48-26, into halftime.
St. Bonaventure (6-3) pushed its lead to 40, 77-37, behind a Dion Wright jumper.
The Bonnies tallied their best shooting performance of the season, hitting 30 of 56 shots, including 8 of 16 from 3-point range. They converted 19 of 22 shots from the stripe.
Both St. Bonaventure and Cleveland State (6-4) committed 20 turnovers, but the Bonnies scored 26 points off those errors, compared to 13 for the Vikings.
Cleveland State was without its second leading scorer Anton Grady (13.7). His replacement, freshman Bryn Forbes, finished with a team-high 12 points.
