COLUMBUS, Ohio - Police say a woman was fatally stabbed and a man wounded in what they are calling an attempted murder-suicide overnight near the Ohio State University campus.
Officers responded to the residence near the OSU campus in Columbus at about 2:20 a.m. Monday after neighbors called and reported hearing two people arguing.
Police said the woman -- identified as 39-year-old Leslie Manner -- was found dead in the residence of stab wounds. The man, 26-year-old Jerry Delong, was suffering from stab wounds and taken to a hospital. Police said he is in critical condition but expected to survive.
Police said Delong will be charged with murder. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney yet.
