Under second year head coach Urban Meyer, Ohio State has parlayed last years only undefeated season in division one football in a landmark recruiting class in Columbus. Proving that the bowl ban of last year had very little impact on the future of the Buckeyes. In fact, some websites are calling it the best recruiting class in the country.
Once again, Ohio State tapped into Northeast Ohio as a hotbed for talent. Six of the 23 signees call this corner of the state home. Tracy Sprinkle of Elyria. Gareon Conley of Massillon, Billy Price of Austintown Fitch, Donovan Munger of Shaker Heights, Christopher Worley from Glenville, and Corey Smith of Akron Buchtel will transfer from E. Mississippi Community College.
