CLEVELAND - In front of a crowd of over 45 hundred, the Cleveland State Vikings had their five game win streak snapped Thursday night and fell into second place in the Horizon League with their 59-41 loss to Valparaiso at the Wolstein Center.
The Vikings shot just 26 percent (14-54) from the field and only hit one of 13 three point shots. Jeremy Montgomery lead the Vikings with 15 points. Trevon Harmon add seven points.
The Crusaders were lead by Ryan Broekhoff who scored a game high 24 points and connected on six of his nine three point attempts.
The Vikings are now 20-5 (10-3 Horizon) and host the Butler Bulldogs on Saturday morning at 11AM. The game can be seen on ESPN-U.
