KENT, Ohio - T.J. Bray had 15 points and six assists and Princeton led wire-to-wire in a 62-50 win over Kent State on Saturday night.

The Tigers (3-4) led 16-2 within 9 minutes in the first meeting between the two programs.

The Golden Flashes (5-3) rallied to trail 31-23 at the break and got within six on a Chris Evans layup to open the second half.

However, the Tigers, who had blown second-half leads in losses to Northeastern and Wagner, maintained that six-point cushion to snap Kent State's three-game winning streak.

Brendan Connolly added 11 points and Denton Koon 10 for Princeton, which shot 55 percent (22 of 40) and made 9 of 19 3-pointers. Ian Hunter, who had scored in double figures all season, had only five points.

Evans scored 18 to lead the Golden Flashes, who made 18 of 53 field goals (34 percent) and only 3 of 11 3-pointers.
