CLEVELAND - Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will be very busy during the upcoming All-Star weekend in Houston.
On Thursday night, Irving was announced as a participant in the 2013 Foot Locker 3-Point Shootout. Irving will also participate in the BBVA Rising Stars game and the 2013 NBA All-Star game.
Irving is 10th in the NBA in three pointer percentage at .429. Kyrie is second in 3-point shooting percentage among NBA point guards.
The Foot Locker 3-Point Shootout takes place on Saturday, Feb. 16.
Irving will compete against Ryan Anderson of the New Orleans Hornets, Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Paul George of the Indiana Pacers and Steve Novak of the New York Knicks.
