CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Cavaliers did not have to go far to find the team's newest player.
On Thursday, the Cavs announced the team signed former Cleveland State University star D'Aundray Brown.
The 24-year-old Brown started 91 games at CSU, but injuries limited his junior and senior seasons at the school. Brown is a native of Youngstown.
The Cavs did not release the terms of Brown's contract.

For the second straight year, the Cavaliers have the NBA's top rookie class.
LeBron James scored 27 points and the Miami Heat nearly matched a franchise record for points allowed in a playoff game, pounding the listless and short-handed Chicago Bulls 88-65 on Monday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
