Outraged over "The Decision," Chili's Grill and Bar responded on its facebook page with a message to all of its customers.  This "decision" was the spoof that was done by Steve Carell and Paul Rudd on last week's ESPYs awards show on ESPN - seen here - in which Carell made the decision to "take his appetite to Outback Steakhouse" over Chili's.

In part, the letter says:

Clearly this is a disappointment to all of us.

The good news is that the Chili's ownership and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven team have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal that was displayed the other night and you're worthy of so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you:

I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT CHILI'S MENU ITEMS WILL BE BOLDER AND TASTIER THAN THOSE OF THE SELF-TITLED ''STEAKHOUSE KING."

The letter is signed by Wyman T. Roberts, the President of Chili's Grill & Bar and can be read in full, here .

The capitalization of letters in the middle of Chili's response was a copy of what Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert did in his letter to Cavs fans after LeBron James announced his decision to play for the Miami Heat next year.

The original ESPYs spoof.
