The Indians recalled third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall from from AAA Columbus. The Tribe sent right handed pitcher Matt Langwell to AAA Columbus.
The 24 year old has been with Columbus since May 13 where he hit .390 with 8 doubles, 2 triples, 6 home runs and 26 RBI in 27 games for the Clippers.
Since May 29 he has hit .467 with 8 2B, 2 3B, 2HR & 16 RBI in 16 games and hit .367 with runners on base overall for Columbus.
He hit in 16-straight games from May 17-June 7. The infielder opened the season with Cleveland and hit .213 with 4 2B, 3HR & 11 RBI in 26 games before his May 13 option to Triple-A.
Langwell returns to Columbus after appearing in 4 games 2.08 ERA, 4.1IP, 3H, 1R/ER in his first big league stint, June 1-17.
