Carlos Carrasco pitched three innings after being hit in the side of the head by a comebacker in the first, Mark Reynolds and Nick Swisher each homered to help the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago Cubs 13-5 Monday.
Carrasco was hit on the side of the head by Darnell McDonald's line drive. Carrasco went down on his knees and was tended to by trainers but stayed in the game. He allowed four hits, two runs and a walk. He struck out two.
Swisher has three of the Indians' 20 hits and Lonnie Chisenhall finished a triple short of the cycle and had three RBIs.
Cubs right-hander Alberto Cabrera struggled through 2 1-3 innings. He allowed seven hits, five earned runs and a walk.
Alfonso Soriano had his first home run of the spring and also doubled for Chicago.
