DETROIT - The Cleveland Indians have activated designated hitter Travis Hafner from the paternity list.

The Indians have lost seven straight and trail the first-place Chicago White Sox by 8 1/2 games in the AL Central entering Saturday night's game at Detroit.
Hafner has hit .230 with 10 home runs in 59 games this year. He hasn't played since Tuesday.
