CLEVELAND - If you’re a Cleveland Indians fan with a big wallet, the team is offering new premium seats for you in 2013 that will take your game experience to the next level.

On Monday, the team announced its new “Premium Club” seating section at Progressive Field next to the press box on the first base side. The seats feature excellent views and all-inclusive upscale cuisine, the Indians said.

“Premium Club members will enjoy breathtaking views of the on-field action as they take in the game from a similar vantage point as Indians radio and television personalities,” said the team in a news release.

Tickets for the new lounge will be sold on a season ticket-only basis, with prices at about $150/seat per game – bringing the total to about $12,150 for 81 home games. Only 100 seats are available.

The new 5,000-square foot section will have 20 high-definition televisions, extra-wide plush seating, seat-side tables, deluxe drink and dining rails and a full bar. Fans can also see the STO pre-game and post-game shows as they’re airing on TV.

“We are excited to open this new, exclusive space for the 2013 season,” said Mark Shapiro, President of the Indians. “It will allow us to better serve a segment of our fan base that research clearly determined desires a more premium experience. The new club features amenities and exclusive benefits that will give our fans a truly premium experience at Progressive Field.”

As a price comparison, the Diamond Box cost for season tickets is $4,678/seat for the season. Those are the highest-cost seats currently available for sale.
